Step 1: Get Your Credentials

Log in to the Exa Dashboard

Log in to the Exa Dashboard at dashboard.exa.ai.

Navigate to API Keys

Navigate to API Keys at dashboard.exa.ai/api-keys.

Create or copy your API key

Create a new API key or copy your existing one.
Never share your credentials publicly. Store them securely and only enter them in the Alter Vault Developer Portal.

Step 2: Add to Alter Vault

Open the Developer Portal

Go to portal.alterauth.com and navigate to your app.

Add Exa

Go to Managed Secrets > Add Provider > Exa.

Enter your credentials

Paste your API Key into the credential field.

Save

Click Save. You’ll receive a grant_id to use with the SDK.
